When E.F. Hutton speaks,..............

This may not have ben such a good idea.

I’m sorry if I caused anyone any problems. I didn’t intend to at all.

But I digress…

[:)Just to play it safe I think everyone here has something to contribute to MRR. I for one have learned alot from you guys and gals here. just my 2 cents Dave

There are a few here on the forum that I highly respect for one reason or another. Sometimes it’s the way they respond to a particular question. Sometimes its their vast and abundant knowledge on a particular subject or topic. It doesn’t really matter who they are by name. I know…

Tom

I digress…

I always take time to read posts from representatives of model railroad manufacturers. Two that immediately come to mind are the folks from Kadee and Rapido. It is good to see that they monitor this forum looking for input from modelers and offering their own input.

The #1 person for me is Joe Fugate. I have gained some really good ideas and knowledge from others as well, but for me, Joe is in a class by himself.

Philip, I hope you won’t be disappointed too much by my saying this, but it seems to me that this question will have the unfortunate effect of being divisive, and the first several responses you have strongly suggest to me that their authors feel that way, too. Notice that they are being polite by actually responding, but they are also careful to avoid the mines. They are non-committal.

In that vein, I have my own list of must-views, but would not feel comfortable sharing it.

I am sorry.

With deepest respect.

I certainly didn’t mean it that way Crandall, but I guess I can see where you’re coming from. Perhaps it was a half baked idea. I just thought that we could kind of give the ones we admire a pat on the back, thats all.

And with that, I digress…

Well… I’ll respond… when pcarell starts a thread, it’s woth a mouse click for sure! [swg]

Okay, you got me. He’s on my list, too. That accounts for my response. [:I] [:D]

Truthfully, Philip, you’re definitely on my list. [:)]

Oh drat! I missed it!

NO FAIR!

Yeah, wa he said…BTW EF Hutton Inc hasnt existed for years, they got absorbed by another company. Your showing your age cause its been 20 years since those commercials were on, theirs probably alot of kids reading that and saying Whodahellizdat?[;)]

I believe that was Merrill Lynch that absorbed E. F. Hutton.

Actually it was Shearson Lehman/American Express that purchased E.F. Hutton in 1987.

How right you are! My mistake.

I’d say that if it were not for the more experienced folks in here, the rest of us might be lost! We all have a question or 2 sometimes and its nice to have a place to go where someone else might have an answer that we can all share!
