Beautiful chime whistle on this engine, which is German 52 class 2-10-0 Kriegslokomotive that (from what I can determine) served the Soviet State Railways for a number of years (a lot of these were left behind during the Wehrmacht’s retreat from Russia during WWII). It apparently was sold to the Czech State Railways in the 60’s, which converted it back to standard gauge and it finally ended up with a Dutch preservation group.

You can see the difference in construction between the German loco and a Russian built 2-10-0 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2anHPoLSsU
The onlly thing the two engines really have in common beside the wheel arrangement is the chime whistle.
A full set of Boxpoks on a 2-10-0. Looks kinda neat.
