Where are all the Trains?

I don’t understand it. One of the hottest Single Track Main Lines in the Country,And there are no Trains.
Today there where only less than 10 to 15.
On a normal day this Line is always Buisy with 20 to 25 Trains a day.
What’s going on?
There where at least 5 Eastbound stack Trains.
And at least 10 Westbounds today.
I have NEVER seen it this slow before[:(].
Anyone one the UP East West Line have the same?
Thenks.[bow]BNSF[bow]

There could have been a broken knuckle in the yard causing a delay or a tipped or derailed locomotive. Also if the lines been that dormant for a longer time then some of the customers may have dropped the railroad or have been dropped. There also may be a shortage of motive power? If it was the BNSF then some of the locomotives may have been getting repainted and will be back soon. I hope these help but there also may be another explaination. Ask the CSX engineer, he may know.

Ok never mind…
I forgot about the Sat. night Traffic Rush!

They are parked all around Roseville, CA because no crews are available.

Sounds like another 2000 MELTDOWN!

The moved next to nothing all day Sunday through Lincoln and then starting after dark Sunday night, they moved them one right after the other. It is a usual weekend thing. They run everything Friday nite into Sat early morning, then when the rail fans come out, they stop. Then ditto Sat nite and Sun morning. But this rail fan is going to get a miner’s hat and extra blankets and fool them…someday…

As I am retired on disability I can avoid this by going rail fanning on weekdays. Of course I can’t go watch from any locale that requires a hike, but, in the LA area, that’s not a big problem.

maybe they know that more idiots are out on the weekends, and for them it is safer to run most of the trains at night with less idiots on the road than in the day?
