Where Are The Williams Golden Memory Sets?

Where are they? Does anyone know? I think they are long overdue.

I received my CP passenger set today. I think Williams started shipping last week. Its every bit as nice as the reviews said. I also received a 671 Turbine, pre Golden Memories, I think. These are my first Williams motive power units and like others have said before they run flawlessly. Williams has themselves another fan and a regular customer.[^]

Got two Williams NS SD90’s earlier this year. Had to ship one back for bad reversing board this past week. Shipped on Monday and was back fixed by that Thursday. Now that is service. One reason it was fixed is because the repairman is probably like the Maytag repairman. Nothing to do. Great runners in conventional and can be run lashed together and no reversing unit problems like the old E units. Strong pullers.

The board sounds like a Williams advertisement.

Not really, everyone knows I am a MTH PS2 person. You need to drop by more often. [:D]

Hey, me too. I’m a PS2 guy who happens to run Williams conventionally via the “variable” TCU port as well as the MTH stuff.

I think it’s good that Williams gets good PR on the board. My latest purchase were Williams Metroliners, and I was very pleased. I do wi***heir freight offerings were a little more up to date, but I can deal with that issue because of the low price. With any luck the contemporary catalog will grow as much as the Golden Memory series has.

All the forums speak of Williams this way. I have 3 williams engines and you can’t beat them. Scale size, powerful, reliable, whisper smooth, great sounding horn, and great prices.

You rarely hear any Williams bashing like you do with Lionel and MTH.

I just received the F3 A-A set in NYC lightening stripe. It looks and runs great. They really did capture that post war look.

Advertisement or not, Williams locomotives rank among the best values in the O gauge market today. Affordable, reliable, simple, attractive, durable, smooth running, and backed by the best warranty (and warranty service) in the O gauge segment of the hobby.

Take it as an ad if you care to, but I just see it as a straightforward description of the line based on my own experience.
