Does anyone know if any retail outlets carry small packages of Decal Paper? I’ve googled for it, but mostly I get on-line places where the shipping costs twice the price of the product. Searching Staples, OfficeMax and the like comes up empty. Same for craft stores like Michaels.
How about hobby shops? Does anyone get Decal Paper at their LHS?
I’ve bought some at the LHS. He carries both Testors and another brand or two, both in clear and white.
A good LHS should have it…a lot of them have just about every decal ever made so they should have it…you may visit the microscale decal site and have your LHS special order the items you need…chuck
I’ve seen the Testors at my not so LHS. Even saw it at Walmart once. If you have a Hobby Lobby, they should be able to order it. Remember-You can’t print white on clear.

I normally get it from Micro-Mark (it’s the cheapest). But your LHS should be able to order any brand that Walthers sells. My LHS carries it occationally, but there isn’t a huge demand for it, so decal paper is usually a special order.

I have tried several types of decal paper and found the best and easiest to use is Testors. My local hobby shop carries it and I started out with Testors. I then ended up using so much I tried to find other papers on line for less money. I ordered from three places and two sent the same paper. It was thick, took forever to release if it released at all, cracked and tore easy. It was no bargain. If your local HS does not carry it you can do a google search for “Testors decal paper” and find several places to order it. It’s worth the extra cost.
