I start with the LHS’s and then work my way down to ebay.
Being in the toolies, I do a lot of catalog and internet (not eBay) shopping. It’s fast and convenient. I do try to use the LHS, but so many times they end up pricing themselves out of my business. Paints, styrene and scenics I get locally.
I’m buying most of my things locally right now, but I wouldn’t be adverse to buying from the larger shops on the internet.

I’m spoiled. I live within a 30-minute drive from 2 excellent HS: MBKlein and PeachCreek.
Mostly from TRAINWORLD, who is only twenty miles away. If iam desperate,and dont want to travel, i go to my LHS there i will pay list on every thing. E-bay ,why pay for used equipement,when trainworld is probably cheaper and brand new.
