my layout is flat and i have black red and yellow trains i have mostly blue and red cars brown carrages to.

My layout is in set up, finished and running in my mind.
the best non museum/display layouts are NEVER finished.
Therein lies the fun.

I have my layout in a 20 x 20 ft. room above my garage.It’s a around the room with a lift-out across the entrance.I’m a comm. artist and the layout started as a small divirsion that is now growing out of control.I may have to move my studio to another place.

Mine is in my bedroom at my dad’s house. Yes, I sleep in the same room it sleeps in. Just a little update: I finished painting the track and I ballasted about 9 feet of track yesterday.

Same here, I keep my 4’x7’ layout in my 14’x 13’ bedroom… it’s small, but it’s a doozy!

i have mine set up in my bedroom, my bedroom closet, and partly in the adjacent rec room. i also sleep under my layout 2, because i would rather have a larger mainline radi then seeing my boring ceiling[:D]

Mine is in my bedroom, takes up half the room. People are amused when I tell them this.

Mine is taking up almost all of my 9 x 11 bedroom.

Up until I retired, I had a small (7’ X 7’’ room) “home office” . When I retired, I cleared it out, and decided it was time to resume the hobby that I had to give up 40 years ago and just never got around to again (until now…).

Mine is in our spare room, which used to be a bedroom, after it was a computer room, which once was a craft room.

It is in the back of a remodelled garage area in the bottom level of
my house. Basement level, stays damp alot there.

Still waiting on returns from bids put into the CEO (wife) So far, looks like the dinning room holds the best hope!!! [(-D]
