Where is IC 6071 now??

I went by CN’s Johnston Yard in Memphis on Friday and IC 6071 was no where to be found. I then read this weekend how CN had officially retired her. This was the last photo of her that I took back near the end of January:

Any idea when she left Memphis and where she is now? Thanks,

Thats the original SD40 prototype, right? It was built on an SD35 frame. This unit should be at least preserved if not restored to working condition. Lets hope it doesn’t get lost out there with all the retirements and newer power.

I am almost certain that CN is aware that this is a historic unit, and will try to be sure it is preserved.Since this is an IC loco, the most likely home for this engine would be at the IRM.

Latest news/rumor is that the CN is donating her to LaGrange and she will be painted back into her EMD demo paint and numbered 434?? Where would she be displayed in LaGrange??? Later,
