Where is it? (confused south)

Somewhere in the Peach State.

Where’s Railfan1

I was going to suggest somewhere farther north, like North Carolina. It surely is an interesting mix of locomotives. I am guessing this was a CSX freight… only because I haven’t seen CSX locomotives on NS trains. Which means precisely… Nothing!

Because of the Georgia flag in the background?[:)]

Seems logical to me. I don’t think Don would carry a spare one around. [;)].

Sometimes the obvious just has to be pointed out to you… NOW I see the flag! I think I’ll check the fly on my trousers now, too!

Dacula, Ga

NE of Atlanta

1.)Douglasville,Ga, West of Atlanta on the Atl/Bham line?

2.) Lawrenceville,Ga Area. (south of the Airport)? My guesses.[:D][:D]

I do believe it is Dacula, Ga.

Dacula?? Is that near Trainsylvania?? ([}:)][:o)])

[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]

I am guessing it’s on the old GS&F line. Just a wild guess but I’ll say Cordele.

Dacula it is! CSX’s Abbeville subdivision.

It’s between Athens and Atlanta on the former SAL route from Hamlet NC to Birmingham AL.

Nah. Transylvania is in northern Louisiana or southern Arkansas, on U.S. 65 near the Mississippi River.
