a surplus of N Scale Illinois Central/ Canadian National Locos, rolling stock, etc.

I’m getting ready to begin my first layout, and I can’t seem to find a website that carries a lot of IC stuff.

Perhaps maybe some Frisco also.

Oh, and I’m going for a Mid 70’s to 80’s feel, in the general Midsouth area.

If the magic word is “surplus,” then the two places to look are Trainworld (www.trainworld.com) and M.B. Klein (www.modeltrainstuff.com.) Both are known for closeouts and overstocks. They buy up stuff that manufacturers and distributers have too much of, and pass on the savings. I’ve dealt with both of these companies, and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about both price and service.
