Kimm’s Kanyon, the center idea of the layout and my tribute to John Alen. I hve posted some of the pics before but never in a before/after format.
Wow that cliff scene is incredible. Good work.
What I cant believe is about 5 years ago I had to tear down my 1/2 completed layout to make room for a new baby and next week he starts Kindergarten. He still loves the trains and wants to run the throttle any time I put them on the rails.

Well I started with this
Then I wanted to add grass (thin out door carpet) and buy some HO trees off E Bay.
While I was on the Bay, I bought a HO train set, cheap life like.
Then I was hooked next came buildings.
Then better stuff.
Then I joined this site and with the help of members here (Art Hill truly inspired me) I started to learn how to work with foam.
Then one of these days, I hope to build this!
Boy, that was a lot of Pictures.

and STILL working on adding scenery… The trees are not permanent and are not staying, just put them there to see how they would look. I don’t think they look good in this scene.
