I’ve seen several people mention using Dull Coat when weathering rolling stock. Where do you buy this at? I’ve looked at Hobby Lobby and the closest thing I could find was a Clear Matte finish. Is this the same thing by a different name?
Not sure on that one, But Dullcoat is a floquil clear spray that dulls down the finish on new paint jobs, I use it alot. Also helps hide decal edges.[:)]
Wal Mart has it around here.
I will have to check Wal-Mart then.
Just about any hobby store should have it and I would guess Walmart or Target would have it. Testor’s sells theirs under the name Dull Cote.
Look in the model car area at Hobby Lobby in with the Testors spray paints they should have glosscoat and dullcoat at least they do in indy. But as mentioned above Walmart or hobbyshops should have Testors dullcoat.
I haven’t found it at our Wal-Mart, but I have picked it up at Michael’s and A.C. Moore, both arts and crafts store chains.
