Where was this picture taken?

Do you know the city/state or city/country?

I would guess Chile? Since the photo title is “ChileLoco” The only other info I can give you is that it was shot using a Canon Powershot SD600 camera with a shutter speed of 1/1500ths. of a second on December 21, 2007. By the way the flash was not used…

Correct country, now which city? Shouldn’t be too hard.

(You cheated! You looked at the file name!, etc. Does it give my social security number too?)

[:-^]

Qui je ? Would I do such a thing??? I’m shocked!

(BTW, next time put your SS# in the data… [swg])

Mark, you might want to top up that registered pension fund…looks like you were short about $1850 in allowable contributions this year.

[:D]

I didn’t look at any file information, but I felt it had to be somewhere south of Panama, maybe Paraguay. Chile crossed my mind, but I had nothin’ to go on.

Me parece que sea Chile, tambien.

OK, the tension is getting too great…The picture was taken at Puerto Montt, Chile which is located at the northern end of Reloncavi Sound. I believe this is as far south as Chile’s railroad system reached. German immigrants settled in the area in the mid-nineteenth century. The city was named after the Chilean leader who encouraged German settlement in the area.

Not anymore! It’s been stolen![:D]

Aaaaahhhh! Get me out of here!!

Guess you’re “done, Kirk”.

Beam me up, Scotty!

Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! for the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night.

I’d lov ta beem ya up kapten, bot I just cant. Ther’s a problem with the transpourtur system, I’m havin’ truble loking onto yar signal.

“Quickly now everyone, back the ship. Train camp is done for this summer.”

“Aaaw come on counsilor Greg. Just one more! Can’t I just weather one more heavy Mike?!”

“No darn it! You need to go home! Counsilor Greg has is own Alco’s to weather you know.”

By the way, this shot was taken on May 1st, the exposure was 1/20th of a second, and the focal length was 5.8 millimeters. [swg]

But is it real or is is it Memorex???

(BTW, Mark, That is meant as a compliment! [;)])
