I’m planning on using Peco No. 6 turnouts on My N Scale layout. I’m considering using ground throws for my turnout control. I have checked Caboose Industries web for ground throws in N Scale, the results were either 105 R, 117R, 206S or 218S. Which ground would work best with the Peco turnouts?
I would greatly appreciate any Help Provided to Me.
Peco turnouts have a built in spring, so they really don’t require an external switch throw. Caboose Industries ground throws are fun to flip, but extremely out of scale (over-sized). If you want to power your switches for remote control, Peco offers a switch machine that mounts directly to the turnout, but it requires a hole to be cut in the subroadbed to accommodate…
They are old school twin coil machines that make a loud “SNAP” when they throw, but they’re very reliable.
