Lately in the news we’ve been hearing about railroads enforcing copyrights of their trademark logos as well as their predecessor fallen flags that are now incorporated into the parent railroad. What about Conrail, whose assets were split between NS and CSX? Which one has the copyright of CR’s logo? Is conrail’s trademark even protected since it was absorbed into 2 roads instead of 1?
Neither. I heard they are owned by Mike’s Train House. [(-D]
Last time that i knew Conrail trademark is still owned by conrail corp.
This is a simple one to answer.
Since Conrail, as a corporate entity, is owned by CSX and NS, the answer is both.

Actually, i bought the Conrail logo so I could charge copyright fees from the model manufactures, calander producers, hat & T-shirt sellers, ect…
Now I just have to buy a bunch of locomotives and paint them in Conrail’s predecesors schemes to protect the fallen flags logos too.
yes but CONRAIL runs trains in New Jersey. In conrail has 2 hump yards and does switching.
Which is true, I deal with them on a daily basis, but that fact is not germain to this issue.
