Who All Thinks Railcams Should Have Night Vision?

Who all would like to see night vision on rail-webcams?
[tup][yeah][wow]

im sure we all would [:D]

Take it from someone enrolled in college for computers… the ‘any’ key is located directly below the ‘n’ key.

Sometimes a geographic location makes pictures from railcams at night look awesome. I have a few neat ones from the Galesburg (Don’t remember exactly what it’s called) railcam that were taken at night. My wallpaper is a photo taken at night, and I think it looks awesome.

[alien][alien]“We thinks it’s GREAT !!!” WoooooWooooooooo![:D]

Ay! they should have night vision, and a choice to see with or without nigfht vision

I didn’t think of this until after I made the intitial post, but night vision probably cost more. However, I’ll chip in a few $$$ to Trains if everyone else will to have their cam upgraded. [:D]

How about it?

Automatic Aperture Adjustment does the trick along with high lumin video tube. Cameras cost about $10,000 each for color capable ones.

Or how 'bout we just stick a few flood lights in rochelle

I doubt the train crews would appreciate being blinded by floodlights shining directly in their eyes. If you’ve ever watched trains meet at night you’ll notice they both dim their headlights.

I would like to see a night vision cam.as far as seeing trains at night they go by all the time where i work on third shift.

Don’t hold your breath folks, we’ve been waiting for years now to see the new railcams at Galeburg, etc. that have been promised by “LIVETRAINS.COM” but nothing has materialized, and this won’t either.

I think having night vision would be sweet!

Sweet but EXPENSIVE!

YES, YES, YES! I work all day so I can’t really see the live images when I get home. Night Vision would be great! [:D]
