Thinking of punting my idea of purchasing a Postwar F3 set and going with this set instead - I haven’t seen this set in personal - I haven’t even seen the box for this set for that matter. Thinking of purchasing this one for my Christmas layout to run in outter loop of Polar Express and spur the passenger cars and run with some PWC frieghts. Its so hard being on a budget and living in a small house with limited footprint for running trains!
I have this set and it is beautiful as long as you like black trucks. The power F3 is a real puller and very smooth. The detail is excellent and the sounds are very good. I highly recommend the add on pieces, especially the Stationsounds diner. I don’t have any pictures yet but there are several on the OGR forum that you can find using the search function.
