Who is still around for the OLD DAYS

Been racing cars so have not spent much time on this forum. Still running the A&N in Aiken s.c… Just plugging along. No bandwidth on my sites for trains all taken up by racing things and business.

Nice to see the other Aikenite back on the site; I remember back when I first joined and was like WOA I’m not the only model RRer in Aiken County!

Hi, George. Welcome back. The “Whistle Stop” thread kind of fell apart after you left. We don’t hear from Lisa anymore either. Drop by the Beer Barn and you might find some names you recognize.

I’m still here - was gone for a while due to family issues but I’m back full force and have rebuilt my collection and a new Reading branch line is under construction in my spare bedroom. Web site’s still around, still way behind in updating it like always. I’ve also been spending some time workign withthe modular layout group of the Reading Company Technical and Historical Society, just finished a week-long display at the RR Museum of PA in Strasburg. Soon as I figure out how to get it all working I have videos of the layotu in operation as well as a ton of pictures in my camera. Time - just need more time. Days should be 30 hours long, then I’d have plenty of time after 8 hours of work plus 2 hours of driving back and forth.

We have an “N” Scale that is 90% finished and running at one house. Another B&O that is 2,358 sq ft and about 25% done but up and running with Saturday schedule once a month. then my A&N which is just getting to scenery since we where going to build another house but Washington DC went to hell so now we keep what we got.

To Realy Find me you need to go on Facebook that will tell where we are racing and when.
