Who Likes the Look of The New Model Railroader??

Hi guys

who likes the look of the new MR, I like it and I think it’s refreshing.

Jeremy

you mean the box at the top left of the pages?

meh same thing to me. just a different color. no biggie. nice change.

Same great mag. As long as I get my info. COOL.

It’ll be hard to spot a mag in the newstand with that darker shade of blue.

Hey, hey… where are the folks located who have the magazine already?! Dying waiting on it to arrive here in Florida.

Got mine – in Phila. Pa.
Does JeremyB get paid to play this FORUM ?
Got a surprise when “Coming Events” suddenly showed up early – on p.50.
Oh my God – its going to be 200 pages of advertising !!
Who cares ? – if that’s all it takes to get extra pages !!

I like the new look and the glossy pages.

As usual, I wi***here were more layout photos.

oh you’re talking about the mag? i can’t wait to get my hands on the new mag then. should be an interesting read.

What happened to the articles? All I see are ADS!

Got mine today Dec. 1! Ft.Wayne Indiana “Home Of the Horse” - NS

still have to wait a full month and a half to get the mag you guys have now.

the must put it on a very slow boat to australia

Teal is my favorite color so the logo looks good to me. The Jan issue is packed full of information, as are most issues. The one thing that I liked seeing the most is the front cover “map” in the contents section. I hope they keep doing that it makes finding an article that caught your eye on the front cover easy to find.

LordBullFrog,
Have you contacted Customer Sales and Service phone: 1-800-533-6644, e-mail: customerservice@kalmbach.com to see if they would send your copy via first class mail vice “slow boat”. A month and a half is a long wait!! I’m sure it frustrates you to read some of these posts talking about something in a issue when you don’t have the issue to look at.

TAMR159,
Look at the “Contents” page! There is more content in this issue than normal due to their celebration of 70 years of publishing.

For those of us that like window shopping, dreaming of what we want to buy and/or comparing prices, the ads are great. Besides, the advertisers pay most of the cost involved in publishing the magagizne. Without them our subscription cost would be in the thousands of dollars a year.

Kalmbach, keep up the good work providing us with quality magazines
