Looking for a maker of the Kawasaki Rail Co Bi-level Commuter Cars that are used on the MARC (Maryland Rail Commuter Train) that goes from Northern Maryland down to Washington DC. Also the MARC uses single level cars made by Nippon Sharyo that I would love to include… Is there anybody who builds these passager cars in HO scale?
Don’t know but probably not. With the cost of dies today a regional passenger car just isn’t going to be done in plastic. Maybe brass but I doubt it. You are probably going to have to scratch build or kitba***hem.
not sure but try www.discounttrainsonline.com
Actually, I believe so! There is a company here in Boston called The Railroad Depot that will start building these. However, they will be VERY expensive and probably more accurate to MBTA models. When I find their business card i’ll give you the info.
Hi guys,
Thanks for the info…
FYI, I have found a local shop here in Baltimore, has really good prices online as well at www.modeltrainstuff.com
I usually compare online compared to these guys cause I can get it at the drop of a hat by going in to the store…
What it is worth…
