Who models in 2 or more scales?

I think it’s gonna require a bit more thinking…but in the meantime, I am keeping adding N scale things to my ‘wish list’…it’s terrible…

But no matter what, this time I want to do it right…proper planning and do things the proper way since I have tried almost everything and I can use that experience towards a second N layout or in HO…

Nothing like experience to overcome our past mistakes.[:D]

I model in S gauge, O gauge and On30 and also have a few cars in G gauge I found cheap at a closeout store that was going out of business oh and I have one N scale set[:D]

Huh, what? Doesn’t everyone have multiple control units! I have a PMP-112, Railcommand, and 4 DCC units.

I model in HO, but since the model railroad club built an N scale modular layout I acquired a bunch of locos and cars so I could run trains on it.

HO, O, and G

Only have a website for the G scale layout though. I should add some pages for the other 2 layouts.

The increase in stuff available for HOn30 and On30 is really turning me into a true rubber-scaler. With 4 different gauges of track (3 rail O, HO, HOn3, N), I can now run 6 different scale/gauge combinations. Help me, I’m drowning (or my wallet is being emptied) by choices…

I know what you mean, but so far I have been able to resist these exquisite models. On the other hand if I was starting from scratch today I would probably go with the On30.

I have officially converted from HO to N, but I plan to hold on to some of my HO collection. I wouldn’t mind superdetailing some of my HO locos if I have spare time.

Reminds me of the story told by U.S. Grant. “I only know two songs,” he quipped. “One is Yankee Doodle and the other one isn’t.”

One scale I model is N-Scale; the other one isn’t!!!
