Looking for pictures and websites of modelers who model The Alaska Railroad. I am hoping to return to modeling after a move from California to Alaska. HO shelf layout of The APU Spur in Anchorage. Looking for ideas.

You might want to see if you can get in touch with Pat Durand. 'Course he’s steam era, but he could probably steer you to other more modern era ARR modelers.

Does anybody model the Hi-rail vehicles on the Alaska Railroad?
Garf
There are several HO Scale Modeling and then Railfan groups on Facebook for the railroad if you are looking for contacts or just to observe.
DJH Engineering in the UK makes a beautiful kit for the ex-US Army Transportation Corps 2-8-0s (I gather the ARR wound up with a few after WWII):
Link to Pat Durand’s page on the loco. The kit comes as built for the USATC and not as modified by Durand for the ARR. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/1930013108
Incidentally, ROCO now has an RTR version of the S160. http://www.gaugemaster.com/item_details.asp?code=RC72151
