Correct me if I am wrong, but the RPO being switched was the only RPO that was named, I believe, the Alonzo B Cornell. Southern Rwy. had RPO’s that were named for places along the Tennessean’s route, but not named after a person.
The clouds of oil smoke from the FM switch engine bring back memories of when FM’s were the standard yard engine in B&O’s Baltimore Terminal.
