Who's in the railway business today?

Lots of info on past railways, but what’s going on today? Who are the major players, anyone out there have a list (probably by size) of say… the top 20 or so railroads in the U.S. forget favouritism, profits, and “EDDIES” one engine rock hauling and storm door railroad co. —strictly statisiics. thanks

The U.S. Government stats. list 7 major carriers by revenues from the last 3 years, it seems #2 and #6 belong to some foreign country to the north. I hope the U.S. is not thinking of nationalizing the railways are they???
