who's sells good PRR T-1 decials?

Hi, soryy that I havent been on for awhile. Spring & summer month I build and race R/C boats, and winter build them and play with trains. Ok I have a bowser T-1 Duplex that I’d built last year and needs decials for it and wanted to do some detials to it.

Your best bet is Microscale. I think the T1 would have been lettered in the “Dulux” colours rather than gold.

Based on the website, here’s the set you’d probably need:

Stock# 87-1166

If you’re modelling pre-1948, then it probably would have had the gold lettering:

Stock# 87-66

as for the details – call or email bowser. they might have a superdetail kit laying around for the loco (longshot, since they’ve discontinued the loco kits [tdn][:(]). If they don’t have a full kit, you can probably still get the parts separately (as they also own the cal-scale, and carey detail parts lines).

Are you looking for decals or details?

Bowser makes a very good quality set of decals that comes stock with the T-1. Is your’s missing its decals?

It appears that there’s no super-detail kit available for the T-1, but I think all the parts are available separate. Bowser has instructions for the most recent version of the T-1 on their website, and pages 11 and 12 show all the detail parts, their part numbers, and where they go.

sorry for the miss spell. it decals that I need… dark santa fe you saw my T-1. you posted on my post about it. might repaint to the corrected color… where do I find brunswick green at? possibley in a spray can forum if possible? or spray out of touchup gun…

I found “PRR Brunswick Green” on the Polly-Scale shelves at the LHS…

depending on where you go, it’ll be either labelled as such, or possibly “British Racing Green”, maybe even “Dark Green Locomotive Enamel”

I saw one on ebay that was done nicly and the bid on it is 286.00!! I’d saved pics of it to go by. Worse come to worse, since its black now. I could but a translucent green over it to that affect.?

I don’t think that’ll work… Brunswick Green was a more “chameleon” colour. If you look at it one way it’s an extremely deep green, but from another angle it looks like “plain black”.

Champ made a set especially for T-1’s, but they closed on 9/30/10 so you cannot probably get a set unless somebody wants to part with theirs, I know I don’t/
