See what I mean? The Thread subject heading doesn’t tell you anything about what’s going to be in the thread…
So… why do people not come up with nice clear titles?

It would really help me for one. Not least when I want to find my way back to a good thread weeks later and can’t recall the weird or wonderful title.
Talking of which … how do I find the thread “I’m gonna kill my cat”… or whatever it was called? Please?

David, Some of us just aren’t that creative when it comes to writing (myself included)… May I suggest, if you see threads you want to keep track of you A: Post to it so you can find it in your profile, or B: Hit the Watch this topic link at the bottom of each thread page. Then, you could hit the link right next to it “Watched Topics List” to recall what you were looking at. Just a thought…
I have a separate folder in my bookmarks entitled “Threads.”

Jeff, thanks for the info on “watch this.” I’ve marked it a few times in the past, but didn’t see the “WTL.”
Also you could put it in your favorites list.

[#ditto] On many forms the moderator will delete threads without descriptive titles. I don’t know why they don’t do that here. It would save a lot of peple a lot of time. And there I think is the bigger issue. Our society wants to do what is easy for “them” (eg. easy for me) reguardless of the effort it creates for other people. Simply rude.

why get anal over the subject title? if it`s not to your liking simply close out the thread and move on.personally i enjoy opening clever subject titles you never know what to expect when you open them up.ok now cuss me out and then close me out.i have to hop a train.

There is a difference between a clever title and one that doesn’t say anything or is completely vague.
