Two things may be at play here—they’re getting more picky about the threads because the server is getting SSSLLLOOOOOWWWW again.

Or Fear and Paranoia about people getting antsy because the economy is worrying some? Head any problem off at the pass?

Either way—maybe bergie can explain if you enquire of this?

Sorry Lou, There have been a lot of threads either locked or deleted, without anyone calling names or otherwise being rude. I don’t understand why it happens, but I guess it is true, You get what you pay for, no point asking for a refund here. I enjoy these forums very much, but if I had to pay for them, I would be very upset at the censorship that goes on here, but being a free forum, well I guess that we just have to accept censorship, even when it doesn’t make any sense.

Nah, that is the moderator’s job. The posts were getting a bit off topic but hey so is Elliott’s dinner. It was a hoot while it lasted.

You are 100% correct Lou. The topic should have stayed. Look at some of those forum topics. There is plenty that should be deleted also if yours was. Maybe it’s because you don’t have 6000+ posts. I mean what about those stupid topics “Check out this Ebay deal” or weather topics, ect. Common moderators, you can’t pull the plug on a topic without enforcing the same rules for everyone else.
