[:|] WOW! I agree!!!
My maid asked me that less than an hour ago, and while I tried to explain, she said “I’ve never really been close to a train.” I replied, “Well, there ya go.”

I took the children out of school to see it pulling the B&B circus train last Tuesday.
The largest operating steam locomotive in the world, pulling the longest train (57xx ft.) ever pulled by a steam locomotive, 3 miles from my front door.

I do this because I am a RR fanatic. Simple as that. Nothing like standing next to a living breathing coal burning steam locomotive![wow]
Thank Goodness I live close enough to Steamtown to get yearly “fixes”. Though along about FEB-MAR I start to get antsy and they don’t bring out the steamers til MAY to help preserve them for summer use.[yeah]
I love MRRing cuz it keeps me in contact with RR.[;)]
Simple as that! [8-|]
My son took these photos of the UP 3985 - 4-6-6-4 Challenger in Jefferson City Missouri on Tuesday.
The UP 3985 locomotive was built in 1943 by the American Locomotive Company of Schenectady, New York. It is currently the largest operational steam locomotive in the world.
