I read with interest someones post this past week about using Windex or Windshield washer fluid to dilute paints for airbrushing, today I gave it a try using Polly Scale Mineral Red reduced 15% with windshield washer fluid, loaded up the old airbrush, one word[:D][:D][:D] “SWEET”[:D][:D][:D][:D]
Thanks to all for that tip.

Works well for me, too.
Do you use the blue tinted or the new(er) clear version of Windex? Or doesn’t it make a difference?
Dave Nelson
Don’t use Rainex WW fluid iy contains silicion or a simular product unless you want a tie dye finish.
Dave I used the blue windshield washer fluid.

I learned the technique from a good friend. The dark blue Windex works!
Doesn’t the blue tint of the washer fluid alter the color of the paint?
Not that I can tell and I have used it now with about six differant colors, some of them
light colors.
