I caught this BNSF train east of Flagstaff, Arizona last week. I did not know what the loads were until I got home and looked up the name that was printed on the tarps covering the cylinder ends. These are probably windmill pylons manufactured by Vestas.
They support these…
I saw an eastbound Union Pacific train going through Tucson, Arizona a couple of weeks ago that was all TTX flat cars carrying nearly 50 or so of those supports, all marked “Siemens” on the plastic wrap.
The next generation of UN people carriers. Instead of white boxcars it’s white tubular containers.
