Another fine video. I remember the hole filing technique for an older video of yiue s. I used it to plug holes in a caboose roof. Worked very well.
This video series is right up there with “Drew’s Trackside Adventures,” truly awesome! And yes, I second Randy’s question below.
Great segment on filling holes Cody, but I was most grateful for the tips on when to mask and when masking may not be needed prior to painting, that was good advice, thanks.

I have a molar giving me a little trouble, Cody, are your dental skills available on weekends?
You may want to look into “de-bonder” for the CA glue removal as opposed to scraping/filing. It is much easier than manual removal and won’t destroy surface detail; just make sure it’s compatible with the plastic. Loctite used to make some.

While you certainly can buy polystyrene rod to fill holes with, myself being a “Cheap Skate”, I use waste sprue materials, sharpened in a pencil sharpener to fill holes. It works just fine and is pretty much free!
This video series has come in at just the right time. I’m currently working on an old ho scale alco rs-3, which I’m doing for my freelanced railroad the Chester and North Creek. I’m currently at this exact stage where I’m cleaning up paint and glue leftover from stripping, and will be detailing within a few weeks. Great video!

Good video…Impressive camera work by Ben or Jenny over your left shoulder at the 13:48 mark to get not only the repair work alone, but through the left lens of your eye glasses too! Enjoy your time working without headgear with magnifying lens as that will change once you pass 40. Finally, agree with Anthony, no out-takes? Can’t believe at the 15:36 mark you pronounced the long term for CA in the first take! Onward!
