Winston-Salem Southbound Series: Signs and scenery details
Gerry your a master at making the story of the scene come alive. Having people discover little things on a layout is great and then they just keep looking for more. Thank you for sharing your skill and providing me with ideas. Keep the videos coming.
That video was nicely done, with great explanations and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. Well done!
Great segments on scenery details. I was wondering if you could show us how you got the window effects on the building next to the Atlas warehouse. THANKS!
Nice touches Gerry, brings the scenes to “life”. I like to use details that are essentially hidden from view because they are delightful when seen on mini cameras riding on flat cars while you are switching an industry…“not all things are seen in a scene”.
Gerry, I really appreciate you taking the time to show us your talent in bringing scenes to life. I have always found your presentations entertaining, educational and motivating.
I hope your continue this series of videos.
MR Video plus is an invaluable source of information made possible by a great team of modelers and with you aboard is even better.
Gerry, a good series on detailing small scenes. Two quibbles, though. First, a working warehouse/shipper/receiver would be a bit more careful about not blocking doors. Second, a fact of life in North Carolina, certainly for the mid 1950s is the color of the work force. Our figure makers are missing an important element.
Gerry, very nicely done, and thanks MRVP for bringing Gerry in on this project. I really enjoyed this section of the Winston Salem Southbound videos.
