Nice work![bow] And as someone who is up to his elbows in rockwork right now, I admire that bluff of yours. It looks very natural.
Keep the photos coming as you progress!

Sweet! I’d like to see some better shots of your back drops.(nice rock color)

Glad you like it guys. I’ll post some more pics later.

Hi Magnus.
I’ve been watching your progress from several posts on this forum, and it looks great! Maybe I’ll even drop by for a visit some day, if you don’t mind…?

Still more great pictures. Great work on the rocks.
Hi Magnus,
You’ve certainly been busy since the last time I “spoke” to you. I’ve been tied up with other things lately and haven’t been to the MR site for a while. I think in the last email you sent you hadn’t started on the wood shed yet, never mind the layout !!! [:O]
I had a look at your pics in the layout section and I’m glad to see your making serious progress with it, the spline roadbed looks fantastic, very nice curves, I definitely can see the advantages to using it and I think it’s going to be the way to go when I start on my layout.
Your scenery looks spot on too, really impressive work my friend, I can’t get over how much you’ve managed to do since our last conversation, just great to see your running trains again !
Makes me sad to think that I haven’t even been able to finish insulating my shed in the same amount of time it’s taken you to start from scratch and get running ! Guess it’s time to really get motivated ! [:D]
Cheers,
Warren
Hi Warren, how very nice to hear from you again. I hope the shame will get you started now. I was wondering where you have been but I assumed that work and family gets in the way. The advantage of being a student is that I got a lot of free time to do things like this. And it’s true, last time we “spoke” the shed wasn’t started.
I started on the shed on April 9th. Thanks for all the kind words. It feels great that you like what I’ve done. I’m quite proud of it my self since I’ve never really done anything like this before. Just a small piece of terrain for my display cabinet.
About using easyspline, go for it. It’s best move I’ve done so far. It makes grades, curves and everything just so easy. And it’s cheap to. Which is something that isn’t a bad thing.
