WIRING A LIONEL OPERATING SEMAPHORE WITH 153IR

I have new 2944 operating semaphore that operates correctly when using the 153 C. It will not operate correctly when connected to 153R. I have verified 153R is operating correctly. I have tried to connect wiring in a variety of configurations from those that are shown in manuals without success. I see this has been discussed in forum before but apparently without solution. Any help or guidance anyone can give me.

I hear you, Lionel CT! I too have been challenged to make the Lionel 153IR work on in some situations. Fortunately, CTT contributor Louis Koumoundouros has developed wiring schematics for semaphores triggered by a 153IR.
