Wiring a PECO three-way turnout

I’m building my first layout and am using totally DCC. I have a slightly used PECO three-way turnout that I would like to work into the trackplan. It is an Insulfrog. Is there any special wiring needed for these? I haven’t been doing anything fancy with my other insulfrogs in terms of insulated joiners or anything and so far so good. It seems like the same should be true with a three-way but I’m not sure. Thanks.

The only thing you need to do is insulate the tracks leading away from the frogs, just as you would do with any other Peco turnout.

I don’t think you need to insulate anything, unless you have a reverse loop or whatever.
Setting up the switch machines is another matter.

Should have no problems.

If you had an electrofrog see:

Thanks Nigel. I will be modeling the N&W early 50s as well. I wondered why I needed the insulated joiners because I haven’t used the so far.

Excellent choice!!! [:D]
