Wisconsin Central Units Still Operating

This is a list I have come up with active WC units. Please feel free
to correct me if any have been retired or sold. I have not included
the WC SW1500’s painted in the CN colors or any former GCFX units.
All these listed are in full WC paint with no attept at changing
thier paint job. Im trying to keep track of them while they are still around.

Thanks for the list, Dave. It’s been getting really boring around here watching CN units powering most of the main-line trains, and IC units on the locals. The CN slug units working Shops yard are kinda interesting, though.[8D]

I’m surprised how many WC untis are still use rebelfdl I know how you feel on BNSF in Chicago I’m Getting sick of the C44-9W

I saw 6604 and 6597 at the point of an ns freight on the old nkp line through fostoria oh a couple of weeks ago.haven’t seen any on csx for awhile but will keep looking.
stay safe

I’m surprised at how many 6600 series SD45’s are still hanging around. But for the most part, they have been hanging around on NS and CSX rails. There aren’t many of them up here in Wisconsin along with the GP40’s. They seem to be spending a lot of time in Iowa and down in Memphis.
