Wisconsin short line expands with new switching contract

Good for WGN!! I have ridden on their excursion trains and watched their growth while traveling through Spooner, WI.

It is so great to see the positive spirit and attitude of these folks!

It is great to see this milestone for Greg and his family. All of their hard work and patience has paid off.

So good to see that line reunited. Still, would be great if they painted everything yellow and green and called it Wisconsin & NorthWestern.

Glad to see it is still going. I remember when that was a very active cn&w line to ashland wi.

Greg is on the right track and I wish him well! It was always a dream of his to someday run his own freight railroad. May all your switches continue to be lined in your favor my friend!

many railroads like this are for sale like the Belfast and moosehead lake railway in Maine just lease the track let excision trains run between brooks and city point and you could get a good 20 cars in 5 day with a gp15-1

This is great news! Good for you Greg and good luck. Short line railroading is not an easy business to be in so hats off to you for nailing down this freight business.

Outstanding! Way to go WGN!
