What power will they be using? I assume not the Soo 1003? Perhaps the WSOR E-units?
The power will probably be whatever is available. The trains are being run by Iowa Pacific using WSOR crews and power. The passenger cars and car attendants are furnished by Iowa Pacific. The same thing is being done on Watco’s Stillwater Central Railroad in Oklahoma. There is only one of the E9A units on the WSOR at this time, the other is on the SLWC along with 3 WSOR passenger cars. They have been used for company business trips and are stored in Oklahoma City.

WSOR E9A 103 has been in the Janesville, WI roundhouse for several months, with E9B 102 sitting outside. Neither has turned a wheel since they arrived. Maybe we’ll see Iowa Pacific 515 and 518 which were the power on the fall excursions, but run with WSOR crews.
