Wish Me Luck with Dispatching

Most of you probably know I’m Transportation Department supervisor, with a Class I. My carrier is hiring dispatchers for the area. So to try something different and increase my skill base, I’m going to apply and see what happens.

Wish me luck.

Nick

My hat’s off to you, and I hope you get the opportunity. And any time you need a friendly ear to listen, p.m. me.

Good luck. As someone who made the jump to dispatching last year, I can say happy I did. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Treat the M/W guys as equals.

good luck on your new job.may the hoses and couplers keep conected for you.

Congratulations, I think–all of our talk about signals and rules concerning that Amtrak wreck got to you, huh?

Do well, and keep in touch–with us, and with those you worked with. Make everyone proud!

Good luck, indeed! And please stay in touch.

Best wishes in the new career as a destscratcher. All I might add it to keep in mind is that the plan goes to heck just as soon as you put it together. The frustrated dispatchers just keep trying to bring reality back to the plan instead of bringing the plan around to the new reality. They probably sleep better at night or during the day…

May all your meets be rolling.

Good luck. [:)]
