Wishlist, Fall 2006

Ok, I know these have been done in the past, but I couldn’t get rid of the temptation to share with everyone what I’d like to see done in plastic in HO. Go ahead, sue me. Ok, I guess I’m just really bored…

Anyone else want to contribute?

I wouldn’t mind having enough Digitrax DH123AT decoders to convert all my Athearns to DCC. A dozen would take care of my active roster.

Hi guys, I would love to have a NYC Mohawk 4-8-2. I know of only the IHC model and I would like to have it made by BLI, or Athearn, or P2K. Also, maybe a Pennsy 6-8-6?? ( now I know that I am dreaming on that one! [sigh])

Wow, already on the second page in 2 hours?

I wish for several bottles of free time. That way, each evening after work and dinner and fighting the great homework wars and getting all the kids in bed, I can uncork a bottle and create a couple hours of time to do something really outrageous, like working on the layout.

I’ll take several of those bottles as well, perhaps we can buy them in bulk and get a discount.

Other that that I’d like another dozen or so Digitrax decoders to finish converting my own fleet and enough Kadee metal wheel sets to upgrade the wheels on all my BB freight cars.

N scale Pennsy K4. You HO guys have 4 to choose from!

Steam , and Diesel Versions of the Milwaukee Hiawatha

mabey these are too rare to have in a plastic model, but enough railroads had them that they might happen one day, the GE B23-S7R.

i took this photo in new london, P&W running long hood forewards. the railroad has 2 of these.
would make a very difficult, but interesting kitbash.

GEARHEAD426

I agree, Conrail also had many B23-7Rs and B30-7Rs. Someday…

I would love to see a caltrain MP-36

I hear ya. I’d like one too (w/ sound). Overland had them some time ago, but it sells for over $300 on eBay.

Athearn is already coming out with a SD45 (can’t wait to see list of roadnames)

I’d like to see Athearn come out with GP7/9/18s since Athearn has a bad habit of covering nearly every roadname and paint scheme[:D]

other than that…
