Perhaps they should include the museum at York as well - several historically important locomotives there.
As to the museum at York Yes one can spend days there. Just learning how they did mail pick up and delivery on the fly was great. The four cylinder locomotives were mind blowing as I found cylinders and drive rods inside and outside the drive wheels. The variety of steam power was immense there with Fairley and other unknown drive systems.
