I have a Wolverine Automatic Coal Loader that uses a very clever mechanism to unload marbles. Although it doesn’t appear that the toy was marketed as an accessory for toy trains, I have found that it is the perfect operating accessory for my windup train layout. The original mechanism was designed to load 4 large marbles but I developed a drop in tray that fits in the marble bin so that I could load up to 9 smaller marbles.
