Woodland Scenic Railway

Since I am the world’s worst (self proclaimed) structure builder (though I do build a kit every now and then), I really like the ones Woodland Scenics puts out. I have a little Bachman Spectrum 4-4-0 American locomotive also, so I’ve decided to put the Woodland (Ga.) Scenic Railway on my layout (get it! [:D]) yuk yuk yuk…, pulled by that engine. Now I have to find a couple of ol’ timey passenger cars. Anyway, here’s part of the Railway Station along with a part of the train going by.

Jarrell

Jarrell,

Great composition. Makes me want to be in that scene. Hurry up and get those passenger cars so I have a reason to be there.

Thanks Jim. You… or anyone else… wouldn’t happen to know who is making the old passenger cars, would you? I know some of them were called ‘duck bills’, from the way the roof came over the outside platform. Ho scale is what I’m looking for.

Don’t know if these are right for your era.

or if you want a craftsman kit go for Labelle

Jarrell:

Can you tell me the make/model (brandname) of those cars? The look alot lot Jordan’s but seemed to be made of metal. I’m I correct, or is that an optical illusion of your picture? Thanks in advance…

BTW. Nice station kit.
