woodland scenics dry tranfer decal

anyone have any experiences with woodland scenics dry transfer decals?
do they hold up to the weather good?
is there a way to print these myself?

I have had good results, thus far, with these decals. Visit my website listed on my signature below to see what I have done with them.

Capt Carrales

Just make once applied you seal them with Testors Dullcoat so they wont peal off.

PS be sure to mask any windows before applying Dullcoat or they will be fogged out when it dries.[;)]

What is a good back ground to place them on if it is just a sign?
Plastic? Just thinking of UV rays etc…

Blue,
Your substrate should be as smooth as possible. Even UV stable plastic should be painted if it will be outside all the time.
Print your designs on the transfer paper used for “T” shirts and you can iron them onto wood substrates.

I use Baltic Birch plywood to make my signs. Thinnest I believe is 1/8" which still looks fine to me for signs. Larry’s iron idea is very good. Later eh…Brian.
