Looks like it would be perfect for late '50s to early '60s.
What is the quality of the injection molding? decent detail and relief? Is it molded all in one color, or several? Does everything align properly?

Hi, Alan,
The kit is molded all in one color, a medium tan, so it will need painting. The parts all fit together well. The kit has nice, crisp molding on the cinder-block and siding, and there were no voids or flash to speak of. The limitations of the molding process, though, means that some of the detail castings aren’t as realistic as they could be, such as the oil-can display, the ice machine, and the bench. Still, some careful painting and appropriate use of the included dry-transfer decals make those details look just fine when the kit is taken as a whole.

I generally like Woodland Senics’ products, but these “pre fab” kits kind of look Department 56-ish or like a David Winter cottage, to me. If it were me, I’d rather put a kit together from the ground up and detail it to look more on the realistic side. But to each his own, as they say. The review provides some really good information and I can appreciate someone wanting to spend more time on the more “rail roady” elements on their pike.
