Is there any difference between the WS low-temp foam glue(the sticks)and the more inexpensive low-temp glue sticks that can be purchased at any craft store?
Jerry
Yes. They’re more expensive. That’s all.
I don’t know about any other brands, but I have used 6 packs of WS sticks on Kimm’s Kanyon and they work so well I am not going to even try anything else. WS can be expensive, but their stuff works so well. My dad used to say the the cheapest ussualy costs the most.
Is there any difference between WS Glue Gun @ $21.98 vs. a Canadian Tire Dual Temp Glue Gun (230F-330F) for $11.99?
$9.99
I usually like WS products, but some of their products are just marked up version of things better purchased elsewhere. Their glue gun and scenic cement are two examples. I use a $10 Craftsman glue gun and 9" glue sticks purchased at Michaels for $5 a bag (of two dozen). I’ve never had trouble with melting foam with the glue (although the gun’s tip WILL melt the foam if you’re careless).
Thanks I’ll check out Michael’s and Sears.

I bought a dual temperature glue gun from Wall Mart for $11.00, it take the bigger sticks of glue. I have been pretty happy with it.
