Has anyone used this before? I’m just wondering if it is worth it, I’m just curious to see how the Woodland Scenics does their layouts. Assuming I’m a beginner at scenics and stuff.

They have a manual and a video that may help. I have used parts of the Subterrain System, but haven’t used it entirely as my only approach. I started my layout before I had heard of the Subterrain system. If starting over, I don’t think I would use the system exclusively. I have my own methods I’ve used over the years and prefer. Still, it is a slick system. Some things, like easy access to trains and tracks in tunnels, don’t seem to be sufficient. Also, except for small layouts, I wonder how cost effective it is.
The videos are great. My LHS loaned them to me. The kits looked fun, but I wanted to work on the real pike. I use parts of the system, but its pretty expensive for a layout larger than 4x8 and is hard to make large elevation changes. If you ask specific questions you will get much good experince being shared.
