Working Signals!

I finally finished some operating signals. While they won’t win any modeling awards, they only cost about $5 each.

They work differently from prototype signals. The top head shows if the next block has the same polarity as the current block (I run DC). The bottom heads shows the route through the interlocking.

That’s a neat idea Nick. I like em! I don’t know if this is on any interest to you or not, but here’s a link to our signals.

I’m impressed - will add both of these to my “futures list…”

Grande Man,

I did see your tread when it first came out. I was/am impressed, your signals are far more detailed then mine.

I made mine with 1.5mm Miniatronics LEDs, IHC signal heads and styrene tubing. The tubing is a little oversized, so I could fish all the wires through it.

you can get those to work in a prototype manner if you install a few train detection circuits to your track blocks…i use dallee circuits and they work great… www.dallee.com …chuck

They look great to me, Good Job

I’m not really interested in prototypical signalling, (I get enough of that at work). Thank you for the information, though. I just wanted something inexpensive, good looking, and that shows some useful information.
