The March 1956 Model Railroader page 60 has an announcement that Bob’s Hobby Shop in Belmont MA is offering a decal for 25 cents, 3 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches, that says “Modeling Railroading – World’s Greatest Hobby.”
I wonder if the folks who created the current WGH campaign were aware of this predecessor?
