im going!! my best friends dad is taking us!

I’ll be there Saturday morning. Don’t want to miss this.

Tom,

I have a workshop I am giving on Saturday, but I plan to cancel it. So if you show up on Saturday, there’s a really good Indian restaurant, the highest rated Chinese restaurant in the Pittsburgh area, and an authentic Mexican restaurant withing 1/2 mile.

I’ll let you buy me and my kid lunch.

you goan be there sunday, space?

wow, that’d be fun…

too bad school started up again and I have no money for gas, not to mention new (or used for that matter) things. I tell you, the vultures in the bookstore have it in for me…

Got church stuff to do.

I’ll be there,

Booths 321 322 323

HO, On30, and N scale products

The Train Haus

Expect alot of kids and parents…a GOOD thing.

And visit the Train Haus booth if you want to empty your wallet.

I went to the WGH show in St. Louis (was that last year?) anyway, it was very big and very busy. Lots of families and folks having a good time. It is in scope somewhere between the normal GATS type train show and the National event. I was a little disappointed at some of the manufacturers who had booths, but only a really token showing. The Atlas booth had no manpower and just a box to register for a drawing. I would be interested in your impression if you go. I enjoyed myself, although it was not what I was expecting.

Man, Chip! You just nailed three of my favorites in one sentence. That’s a terrible predicament to put someone in!..[%-)]

So…does the Chinese restaurant serve Dim sum?

Tom

If this is the “World’s Greatest Hobby” I would suspect it may have something to do with collecting stamps.

So you’re not planning on sitting at home being bored all day Saturday are you?

Chip,

Not a chance. Unfortunately, I may be standing in front of my house shoveling 12" of snow out of my driveway that day. (The joys of living just south of the “Big Snow Machine” - aka Lake Erie.) I’d sure like to make it to the train show. But, at this point, it ain’t lookin’ too good. I’ll let you know if that changes…

Tom

Would go if i could

Chip,

Just in case things “lighten up” around here snow-wise, what time are you planning on being at the Expo tomorrow?

Tom

11-12 check your email.

Thanks, Chip. I replied.

Tom

I won’t get it until tonight. My SpaceMouse email only goes to my house.
